Terms of use

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms govern Amy and its website. By accepting the service terms, you agree to follow them. If you disagree, stop using the service and contact support about your account.

The standard Apple license agreement also applies, where relevant, to the app acquired through the App Store. No provision removes mandatory user rights.

2. Operator and contact

3. What Amy does and its limits

Amy lets you record and organize personal finances and consult suggestions or analysis. It is not a financial institution, does not hold money and does not perform payments, transfers or banking transactions. Recording a payment, loan or transfer in Amy does not perform that transaction in the real world.

Balances, budgets, projections and estimated dates are based on recorded data. They are not banking documents, accounting certifications or guarantees of savings or returns. Answers and plans do not replace professional financial, accounting, legal or tax advice.

AI may misinterpret text, voice or documents, and automations or notifications may fail. Check amounts, currency, account, category, date and whether the record was saved. Check obligations against their original source; a notice does not replace a due date. Features depend on the plan, version, device, permissions and connectivity.

4. Account and security

Use valid information and protect your credentials and device. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share banking passwords or security codes with Amy or support.

You must be at least 13; if you are below the age of majority, you need your legal representative's authorization. You can request deletion from your profile or through support. Data retention and exceptions are explained in the privacy policy.

5. MyMoneyPro, purchases and cancellation

Amy offers free features and a MyMoneyPro subscription. Applicable prices, periods, limits and offers appear before purchase confirmation; not every feature is unlimited or included in every plan.

On the App Store, payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; Apple may charge renewal during the preceding 24 hours. Manage and cancel through your Apple Account settings. Uninstalling Amy or deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.

Trials and offers follow the conditions shown when subscribing and store eligibility. You can restore purchases in the app. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple; support can guide you without removing legal rights. Price changes are subject to store and legal notices and requirements.

6. Shared spaces and content

Members can access space information according to their permissions. Check whom you invite and do not include third-party data without authorization. Leaving a space does not necessarily erase its history or other people's copies. Agreements and obligations between members remain the responsibility of their parties.

7. Permitted use and suspension

Do not use the service for unlawful activities, unauthorized access to other people's data, attacks on its systems, evasion of usage limits or infringement of third-party rights. Software restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

We may proportionately restrict or suspend access for abuse or security risks, consistently with applicable obligations. You can contact support to request review; purchase or complaint rights are not excluded.

8. Availability and liability

We do not guarantee infallible AI, uninterrupted service or a particular financial outcome from using Amy. Users should check entered data and recommendations before making decisions; that review does not transfer the operator's legal obligations.

To the extent allowed by law, we do not assume liability for independent user decisions or agreements between third parties, or indirect damages attributable to those decisions. Connectivity, device or provider failures are assessed according to their cause and applicable obligations; they are not an automatic exemption.

These terms do not exclude or limit liability that must legally be assumed, consumer rights, mandatory warranties or data protection obligations. They do not impose a general waiver of claims or exclude all liability.

9. Data and permissions

Processing is explained in the privacy policy at https://aimymoneyapp.com/privacy. It describes AI providers, diagnostics, shared information and account deletion. Processing and permissions requiring authorization must have it under applicable law; accepting these terms does not replace that requirement.

10. Intellectual property

Amy's own code, design and content are protected by applicable law. Third-party marks and materials belong to their owners. You are authorized to use the app under its license; ownership of the software is not transferred.

We do not claim ownership of financial data or documents you provide. You must hold the necessary rights to use them; processing is limited to the service purposes and privacy policy.

11. Changes and termination

We may update features and terms. Changes must be communicated and additional acceptance or authorization obtained where required by law. They do not retroactively reduce acquired rights or mandatory purchase conditions.

You can stop using Amy and request account deletion. If you have a subscription, cancel it through Apple as well. Obligations and rights that must continue by their nature survive deletion.

12. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by Colombian law without displacing mandatory rules protecting users in their place of residence. Jurisdiction is determined by law; we do not require waiver of your lawful forum or impose mandatory arbitration.
